Fairbanks School of Talent Education

Many families involved with the Fairbanks School of Talent Education have instruments that they no longer need or are in search of instruments that they do need. To facilitate a community effort to keep our students supplied with the correct tools they need to play a "Swap Shop" has been organized.

Two Cellos for Sale

I have two cellos for sale:

1) 1/10th size Crystal Cello, purchased new in 2009 29"L x 10.5" W Comes with a padded zippered bag with straps, bow, and rosin Our daughter used this cello for one year. Strings and body in excellent condition. $200

2) 1/8th size Antonius Cello, purchased in 2005, slightly larger than the 1/10th, comes with a padded zippered bag with straps, bow, and rosin. About two years of use, excellent condition. $200

Both are great beginners cellos for kids 4-8 years old.

I have several items for sale: a 4/4 German Violin circa 1910, which I am selling for $1,200.00 (case and strings included); a full sized violin bow stamped Alfred Knoll (nickel mounted on ebony), which I am selling for $250.00; a down-filled violin case cover for a 4/4 violin, which I am selling for $200.00 (PERFECT for Alaskan winters)

High quality 1/2 size Hiroshi Kono violin for sale. Includes case and bow. Whole package for sale for $1200.00. Bow was purchased for 400.00 last year. Value of violoin is $1300.00.
