Prospective Students
Are you interested in learning to play the violin, viola or cello? Are you wondering how to get started and what it entails? A good way to start is to visit Group Classes on Thursday night at University Park School on Loftus Road. Pre-Twinkle classes start at 5:30 in Rm.38 with many of the other classes starting at 6:00 PM. You might be particularly interested to see the recital on the first Thursday or the Large Group Class on the last Thursday. Both are at 6:30 in the Commons. You are welcome to come in and observe quietly.
Want to find out more? Contact one or several of the teachers. Tell them you are interested in lessons and ask if they have a waiting list or what you need to do to get started. A phone call is much better than a mass emailing to all the teachers. Teachers will often ask you to come observe one or several lessons in their studio. This allows you to see what lessons are all about and the level of commitment that it takes to study a stringed instrument.
