Group Lessons
What is Group Class?
One time a week students, their home teachers, and a trained Suzuki teacher meet in a group setting to perfect the pieces and skills appropriate to the student's current level. The Fairbanks School of Talent Education faculty work cooperatively together to provide students with both a productive and fun social environment for learning. Students are given the opportunity to learn from more advanced players and their peers. They are also able to role model well developed skills for each other and less advanced players.
Fairbanks School of Talent Education offers between 5 and 10 violin classes, 1 to 2 viola classes, 3 to 4 cellos classes, and 1 to 2 flute classes of various levels. Levels are determined at the beginning of each school year according to the skills presented by those students who register for Group Class.
To be a part of Group Class each student must register at the beginning of each semester and each student must study privately with a teacher.
